To fix Windows Modules Installer Worker you can manually terminate the Windows Update service to lower CPU use. Type services.msc and hit Enter after pressing Win + R. Go to Windows Update, then choose Stop with a right-click. This only offers a short-term solution. Make sure Windows is up to date, use the Windows Update troubleshooter, and limit automatic updates by selecting Metered under Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage Known Networks
