My personal opinion is that the sword fields of Elden Ring serve the similar purpose. I like to think they're intended to honor Miura the man whose death greatly affected those familiar with his work. Much like Guts is gifted the Berserker Armor, you're eventually given Blaidd's armor in Elden Ring, allowing you to live out your dreams of a FromSoftware-developed Berserk game. I won't give any details regarding how the armor of Blaidd comes into your possession, but if you have any previous experience playing Souls games, you'll likely be able to guess. This isn't a pleasant matter.

In the event that Blaidd was Guts with his Berserker Armor and I'm guessing that makes Elden Ring fan favorite Ranni the Witch akin to Berserk's Schierke? Though it's a stretchconsidering Ranni is among the most powerful people in the Lands Between and Schierke is a young witch-in-training, I would say it's plausible when you take into account their different relations with wolf-like men.

While I'm no Vaati it's evident that Ranni and Blaidd share a strong bond. Blaidd, as far as I can tell was designed specifically to guide Ranni towards her purpose as an aspiring god-like being by an unseen supernatural force, referred to as the Great Will.
